In keeping with its "single frame design," Sanremo engineered the Zoe portafilter machine for exceptional robustness and a long service life, even under consistently high demands. Optimized mass production technology ensures very low operating and maintenance costs. In particular, all wear parts can be replaced quickly and inexpensively. The boiler and all pipes are made of copper and additionally treated to prevent deposits.

The distinctive design not only offers the barista a "bella macchina" but also an ergonomically perfect workplace for the barista. The work area is optionally LED illuminated. The barista can keep an eye on pressure and temperature in the integrated instrument cluster, while the steam lances and water dispenser are quickly accessible, enabling high working speeds when the line at the counter is long. The large boiler capacity always provides sufficient dry steam for milk foam and heat for the fresh water for the coffee dispenser. The proven heat exchanger system with thermosiphon circulation and adapted add-on components, such as the solid brewing groups, ensures constant thermal stability. The Zoe thus guarantees high-quality coffee every time. The boiler flow is automatically regulated, and the two steam lances, with a perfect mix of steam and air, create perfect, fine-pored milk foam. The cleaning program ensures that the brewing groups are quickly rinsed, and the drip tray has a large capacity for long, uninterrupted work.

The Zoe SED version allows the user to program doses. An electronic dosing system is accessed via the individual buttons on the control panel. The simple control panel allows you to set the correct settings for the programmed coffee dispensing and pre-infusion for each group at the touch of a button.

Pre-infusion timers have been available on high-end multi-boiler barista machines for a few years now. Professional single-boiler machines at the higher entry-level have not had this feature until now. The Sanremo Zoe SED changes that. Pre-infusion moistens the coffee before the main extraction, better preparing the coffee grounds for the full water circulation and significantly improving the in-cup result. The special feature of the ZOE SAP version is its semi-automatic programming. Continuous brewing is controlled by the barista himself using an on/off switch.
