Backflushing - How to professionally clean your E61 brewing group

Remove stubborn coffee residue and keep the inside of your brewing group clean with this blind filter. Not only will your espresso retain its flavor, but your coffee machine will thank you too. With every coffee or espresso brew, some coffee grounds settle in the brewing group. This is unfortunate because these grounds contain grease that can burn into the brewing group over time, clog the shower filter, and in extreme cases, even compromise the seal. This can easily be prevented by regularly using the blind filter. Place the blind filter on your portafilter to direct the water back into the brewing group. Add a cleaning tablet regularly (once a month).
