This high-quality coffee blend is the result of a perfect coffee bean from the volcanic island of Fogo. Fogo means fire. And this name reveals what the island is: a volcano. At 2829 meters, the volcanic mountain Pico de Fogo is the highest elevation in the Cape Verde Islands and dominates the landscape of the island. The mineral-rich lava soils are ideal conditions for the unique Arabica and Robusta beans. The harmonious, balanced coffee roasting results in an intense flavor with a light chocolate note and at the same time a full body and a pleasant acidity. This blend is ideal for espresso.

Espresso, pure Italy! It was invented in MILAN. During preparation, water is pressed through finely ground coffee at very high pressure. Usually, 7-9 g of coffee powder and 25 to 30 ml of water are used for an espresso using a portafilter machine. In Italy, the small black coffee is typically hot and sweet and there is a thick foam on top of the espresso, the crema. It is well done when the sugar remains on the surface for a short time before sinking to the bottom.
