Even at first glance, the Eureka Mignon Libra differs from the tried and tested Eureka Specialita. The Mignon Libra has been enhanced with GBW technology (grind by weight) . This is very impressive, especially as you no longer have to worry about the time it takes to grind. The integrated scale makes things much easier, as you can just enter the number of grams of ground coffee you want, regardless of how coarsely you want it to be ground.

The touchscreen is the same as the standard model, with the only difference being that the numbers represent grams instead of seconds. This means you can program single and double doses as well as manual dosing. Technical characteristics of the Eureka Libra

The espresso grinder is solidly made. The large diameter of the grinding disc and the low speed of the motor ensure low grinding temperatures and prevent the escape of aromatic coffee oils. The correct grinding level is set sensitively and conveniently using an adjustment wheel (top left). This allows the patented 4-point suspension of the grinder to fully demonstrate its strengths.

The weight can be regulated via the digital touch display. After the grammage has been set, the grinder always dispenses the same amount of coffee at the touch of a button. You can also switch the stepless 55mm steel grinder to manual operation. The touch screen can be used to individually program two doses + manual continuous operation, then the output is consistent in quantity and quality.

Since the grinding discs are closer together on the outside, the bean is ground ever finer. To adjust the degree of grinding, the distance between the discs is changed.
